ABOUT ABOUT

After an incredibly successful debut, The Grapevine Cafe is proud to bring back its Comedy Night in November. Debbie Joan Miller has collected another round of talent to deliver the audience a fun evening of laughs. Mike Carroll, Helen Frazer, AJ McIntyre, Rachel Blithe and Mike Peters are ready to go.

Tickets are available for $5 at the door or $3 online, so don't sleep on this chance to get out and make a Friday night memorable and help support the comedy scene.

Mike Carroll has worked at the Syracuse Funny Bone and is a regular host with the Binghamton Comedy Binge. Carroll hosted a leg of the Comedy Crawl in April and was runner-up in Binghamton's Make Me Laugh contest in 2015. He's headlined the Night of Debauchery and opened at Virgil's BBQ at Tioga Downs in Nichols.

A stand-out member of Bing Stand-Up, Helen Frazer is from Maplewood, N.J. Back in town for grad school at Binghamton, Frazer has opened for Andy Kindler and "Whose Line Is It Anway?" She entertains the crowds with her domestic tales, plights as a young woman in this society and enviable place in her family.

From Long Island, N.Y., comedian AJ McIntyre burst out of the Ithaca scene recently and is making a name for himself across the region. McIntrye shuffles between Ithaca, Syracuse, Binghamton and Cortland to spread his wisdom and tales to any audience that'll listen.

Rachel Blithe is a comedian and actor who splits time between Syracuse and New York City. She took second place at the Who's Got Next? tournament in Rochester and works all around New York. She's quick, clever, a little bit musical and always entertaining.

Mike Peters, who's worked around New York and Pennsylvania, is a co-founder of P.S.Y.C.H. 607. Peters specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. He's a regular host at Matty B's in Binghamton, has performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Villiage Comedy Club in New York City and won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest.
