ABOUT ABOUT

Comedy Night at The Grapevine Cafe is back for more and you won't want to miss this lineup. Debbie Joan Miller has assembled a quartet of comedians who'll be sure to brighten your week: Mike Peters, Jen Stephenson, AJ McIntrye, Angelia Petrillo and headliner Zack Hammond.

The show will start at 7 p.m., so get there early to get a seat. Tickets are available for $10 at the door or $5 online.

Debbie Joan Miller, a Binghamton favorite, is the architect of the Night of Debauchery series, the Debonair Affair and the Comedy Nights at the Grapevine Cafe. In three years as a comedian, Miller used her enthusiastic style to establish herself as a strong host while organizing and running Matty B’s open-mic nights and opened for Brian Barganier and Zack Hammond. She’s hosted numerous shows in Binghamton and Scranton and worked behind the scenes on the production and social-media promotion sides to ensure things have gone smoothly.

About the comedians:
Mike Peters, who's worked around New York and Pennsylvania, is a co-founder of P.S.Y.C.H. 607. Peters specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. He's a regular host at Matty B's in Binghamton, has performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City and won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest.

Jen Stephenson is a Syracuse native who makes chronically awful life decisions and shares the results with audiences across New York. Stephenson took first at the CNY Playhouse Clash of the Comics and takes her jokes on the road to stages from Buffalo to Manhattan. An avid day-dreamer, she's either envisioning the perfect kiss -- or tacos. Whichever comes first.

From Long Island, N.Y., comedian AJ McIntyre burst out of the Ithaca scene recently and is making a name for himself across the region. McIntyre shuffles between Ithaca, Syracuse, Binghamton and Cortland to spread his wisdom and tales to any audience that'll listen.

Nothing is off-limits for Angelia Petrillo, who's everywhere around the Scranton area and has performed in New York City. Petrillo produces shows all over Scranton and won Matty B's Roast Battle II. Always a good time, Petrillo combines heavy doses of self-loathing and her musical talent to keep the crowd laughing.

Originally from Maryland, Zack Hammond is approaching a decade of stand-up that's taken him all around the East Coast while working on recording his three albums. He performs regularly at Wise Crackers in Scranton and has worked in New York City, Philadelphia and Baltimore and opened for Doug Stanhope. He won the 2010 NEPA Comedy Idol and NEPA Scene’s Got Talent in 2015.
