ABOUT ABOUT

After a six-month "permanent, temporary hiatus," Debbie Joan Miller is returning to the stand-up stage as she hosts her successful series, Comedy Night at The Grapevine Cafe on Feb. 24. To celebrate the occasion, she invited her P.S.Y.C.H. 607 teammates and one of Binghamton's best comedians, Mike Ciurzynski.

P.S.Y.C.H. 607 co-founders CJ Youmans, Mike Peters and Taury Seward round out the lineup. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and tickets are available online or at The Grapevine Cafe.

In coordination with the House of Worship church in Binghamton, we're raising money and collecting coats for those in need around town. We'll accept new and slightly-worn coats and cash or money donations throughout the show.

Debbie Joan Miller, a Binghamton favorite, is the architect of the Night of Debauchery series, the Debonair Affair and the Comedy Nights at the Grapevine Cafe in Johnson City and opened for Brian Barganier and Zack Hammond. A P.S.Y.C.H. 607 member, Miller isn’t afraid to get dirty, so long as she can find a pair of clean socks at home. Always auditioning to be Bill Nye's No. 2, Miller’s not afraid to display her inner-dork or her outer-nerd. And if you want to talk about gluten-free alternatives after the show, she’s got you covered there, too.

CJ Youmans, a co-founder of P.S.Y.C.H. 607, takes a special delight in seeing just how far he can go until an audience turns on him. He's a regular performer in the Scranton, Pa., and Binghamton areas and hasn't met a boundary he can't cross. Youmans runs a successful dark comedy series and the annual Jokes for Jude show.

Mike Peters, who's worked around New York and Pennsylvania, is a co-founder of P.S.Y.C.H. 607. Peters specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. He's a regular host at Matty B's and Spotlight in Binghamton, has performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City and won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest.

Taury Seward, a co-founder of P.S.Y.C.H. 607, won the Who's Got Next? Rochester tournament and is a regular at Matty B's and Spotlight. He works steadily around New York and Pennsylvania and enjoys Bob Dylan, spam and amusement parks. He's a crowd favorite and always helpful at the grocery store. Seward runs the successful Laughs with Friends series and lives in constant fear of his grandfather.

One third of the Binghamton Comedy Binge, Mike Ciurzynski combines a sharp wit, a punk rock attitude and three chords to please audiences wherever he goes. Ciurzynski is everywhere the Comedy Binge is: The Binghamton Comedy Crawl, Virgil's at Tioga Downs and next -- in your hearts. He’s ready to unleash his middle-aged angst on anyone willing to listen.
