ABOUT ABOUT

Continuing the successful series, Debbie Joan Miller presents another installment of Comedy Night at The Grapevine Cafe. Come on out and be a part of a fun night of laughter with some of Miller's favorite local comedians, Mike Peters, Bill Lake, Helen Frazer, Mike Carroll and Deidre Mollura.

The show will start at 7 p.m., so get there early to get a seat.

Debbie Joan Miller, a Binghamton favorite, is the architect of the Night of Debauchery series, the Debonair Affair and the Comedy Nights at the Grapevine Cafe. In three years as a comedian, Miller used her enthusiastic style to establish herself as a strong host while organizing and running Matty B’s open-mic nights and opened for Brian Barganier and Zack Hammond. She’s hosted numerous shows in Binghamton and Scranton and worked behind the scenes on the production and social-media promotion sides to ensure things have gone smoothly.

About the comedians:

Mike Peters, who's worked around New York and Pennsylvania, is a co-founder of P.S.Y.C.H. 607. Peters specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. He's a regular host at Matty B's in Binghamton, has performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City and won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest.

Bill Lake is a co-founder of the Binghamton Comedy Binge and is a regular at Matty B's and the Comedy Night at Virgil's in Tioga Downs Casino. A former contributing writer for David Letterman and Craig Ferguson, Lake has been at the Funny Bone, the Binghamton Comedy Crawl and all over the upstate area.

A stand-out member of Bing Stand-Up, Helen Frazer is from Maplewood, N.J. Back in town for grad school at Binghamton, Frazer has opened for Andy Kindler and "Whose Line Is It Anway?" She entertains the crowds with her domestic tales, plights as a young woman in this society and enviable place in her family.

Mike Carroll has worked at the Syracuse Funny Bone and is a regular host with the Binghamton Comedy Binge. Carroll hosted a leg of the Comedy Crawl in April and was runner-up in Binghamton's Make Me Laugh contest in 2015. He's headlined the Night of Debauchery and opened at Virgil's BBQ at Tioga Downs in Nichols.

Deidre Mollura is quickly becoming one of Ithaca's strongest comedians. A member of the first Pre-existing Conditions show in June and a co-founder of the Itha-ha comedy group, Mollura is a collector of oddities and a lover of the weird things in life -- much to the audience's amusement. She opened for Kevin Salisbury and Brian Barganier on their New York tour in the spring, including a stop at the Bundy Museum in Binghamton.
